Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Must have strong aviation industry experience, Australia preferred.
• Must have strong pavement-specific experience, preferably in aviation.
• Knowledge of aviation standards and infrastructure design criteria.
• Up-to-date knowledge of engineering planning and construction practices.
• Experience with complex interfaces between airport design and multiple design contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to organize and coordinate engineering aspects for complex projects.
• Support technical risk assessments and ensure QA compliance and safety practices.
• Communicate complex technical issues to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts across disciplines and with suppliers/contractors.
• Oversee airfield scope design reviews and manage design change requests.
