Boeing Defence Australia at RAAF Amberley in Queensland is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) - Structures to join our Deep Maintenance Team supporting the Australian Defence Force's F/A-18F Super Hornet fleet. You will perform complex structural maintenance, repair and modification work on advanced aircraft, with exposure to composite repairs and depot-level tasks.
The role requires a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures) and proven AME-Structures experience.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures) required for the role.
- Experience as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures in a regulated aviation environment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, repair instructions and technical manuals.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
Responsabilités
- Aircraft structural inspections and repairs.
- Composite structure assessment and repair.
- Metallic structure repair and restoration.
- Removal and replacement of aircraft structural components.
- Fabrication and installation of repair schemes.
- Corrosion assessment and rectification.
- Aircraft modification activities.
- Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical publications.
- Completion of maintenance documentation and certification activities.
