Job summary

Alliance Airlines is seeking an AME (Structures) to maintain airworthiness of the fleet at the Airport in Rockhampton. You will work with LAMEs to perform structural maintenance to high safety and quality standards.

The role involves corrosion control, fabrication, and repairs across metallic and composite structures. The ideal candidate has a Certificate 4 in Aeroskills and a strong commitment to safety and performance, with the ability to work autonomously or within a team in a dynamic

Qualifications

• SRM knowledge and IPC familiarity
• Engineering Orders & Technical Instructions understanding
• Knowledge of corrosion control and prevention methods
• Sheet metal fabrication, riveting, fastening, sealing, and composite repairs
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams
• Initiative and ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Commitment to safety and performance across tasks

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft structural inspections, repairs, and replacements on metallic, composite, and bonded structures
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled structural maintenance per approved data
• Fabricate, fit, assemble, and install structural components and repair schemes
• Undertake corrosion assessment, treatment and prevention activities
• Conduct drilling, riveting, fastening, sealing, bonding, and composite repairs
• Assess damage from bird strikes, ground incidents, lightning, ramp impacts and environmental factors
