Job summary

Virgin Australia Brisbane Jet base is seeking a Maintenance Leader to oversee safety, production and people in a technically focused role. You’ll drive cost‑effective maintenance services, manage the team, and coordinate with Engineering to meet schedules.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, performance review, and collaboration across functions to achieve operational and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience leading a maintenance team.
• Experience in airline Technical Operations or maintenance.
• Ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding CASA/EASA airworthiness rules and guidance.
• Able to work Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver maintenance production schedules and allocate resources.
• Coach and develop team members and oversee onboarding.
• Monitor maintenance activity and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering to meet objectives.
