Job summary

Skytek Pty Ltd, based in Cairns, Far North Queensland, is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) to join its MRO. Candidates should have Part 145 line/heavy maintenance experience (preferred) and a Cert IV Aeroskills.

You may work on fixed wing types such as DHC 6 and ATR 42/72, or rotary types like Bell 206/407 and Airbus H145. A current ASIC or eligibility, and a valid Australian license, are required.

Qualifications

• Part 145 Line / Heavy maintenance experience (preferred).
• Cert IV Aeroskills in Fixed or Rotary Wing (or equivalent).
• Experience on listed aircraft types across fixed and rotary wings.

Skytek Pty Ltd is a leading maintenance, repair, and overhaul organisation (MRO), specialising in fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

Our maintenance facilities are based in Cairns, far North Queensland where an exciting opportunity now exists for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME)

to become an integral part of our engineering team.

Successful candidates will need to have:

• Part 145 Line / Heavy maintenance experience (preferred)
• Cert IV Aeroskills in either Fixed or Rotary Wing (or equivalent)
• Experience on any of the following aircraft types
• Fixed Wing – DHC 6 / ATR 42/72 / Beechcraft King Air / DHC 8 Classic / DHC 8 Q400
• Rotary Wing – Bell 206/407 and 212/412 Series / Airbus AS350 & H145
• Capacity to refer to and interpret specifications / standards and written technical instructions
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Current ASIC card or be eligible to hold Australian ASIC
• Must hold a current Australian driver’s license.

Salary up to $105,000 excluding superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications
