Job summary

Skytek Pty Ltd, part of Aerlink Pty Ltd, operates a heavy MRO facility in Cairns, Far North Queensland. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our engineering team for upcoming opportunities, with emphasis on CASA Part 66 licensed technicians and experienced overhaul specialists.

Relocation considerations may apply for exceptional candidates; candidates must be able to work on-site in Cairns and meet aviation-safety requirements.

Qualifications

• CASA Part 66 license required.
• Current ASIC card or eligibility for ASIC.
• Part 145 experience essential.
• Overhaul workshop experience preferred.
• Experience with Bell Helicopters 212/412 and 206/407 components a plus.
• Ability to interpret specifications and written technical instructions.

Skytek Pty Ltd (associated entity of Aerlink Pty Ltd) is a leading maintenance, repair and overhaul organisation (MRO), specialising in fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Our heavy maintenance facility is based in Cairns, Far North Queensland where an exciting opportunity now exists for highly motivated individuals to become an integral part of our engineering team.
Due to sustained and continual growth, exciting opportunities now exist for the following positions

Successful Candidates Will Need To Have

• CASA Part 66 License.
• Current ASIC card or be eligible to hold Australian ASIC
• Part 145 experience,
• Overhaul Workshop experience
• Experience on the following aircraft components would be highly regarded
• Bell Series Helicopters 212/412 & 206/407 Drive/power train
• King Air Landing Gear overhaul
• DH6 Twin Otter Nose Landing gear overhaul
• Wheels and Brakes
• Capacity to refer to and interpret specifications/standards and written technical instructions

• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines whiles part of the team
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
