Marand Precision Engineering is seeking Aircraft Assembly Operators to join our team in Australia, supporting the manufacture and assembly of military aircraft structures for the aerospace and defence sector. We operate across Day Shift and Afternoon Shift, with flexibility across shifts highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace or similar industries will be highly regarded.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Assemble aircraft components per drawings and work instructions.
• Maintain high precision and quality in a structured environment.
• Contribute to team effort across Day Shift and Afternoon Shift.

This is a hands‑on role suited to mechanically minded individuals who enjoy precision work, working with tools, and building high‑quality products in a team environment.

Job Description

• Have a strong mechanical aptitude?
• Have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity?

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience working in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace or similar industries will be highly regarded.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings (advantageous).

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

• Drilling, reaming, deburring and countersinking
• Measuring equipment including verniers, gauges and calipers
• Composite bonding
• Pneumatic tooling
