Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service, and repair commercial and residential air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on split systems, ducted systems, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Test electrical circuits, components, controls, and refrigerant systems using specialised diagnostic equipment
• Install compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, fans, ductwork, piping, and associated equipment
• Recover, vacuum, test, and recharge refrigerant systems in line with industry regulations
• Interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams for installation and repair works
• Ensure all work complies with standards, WHS requirements, and company procedures
• Identify and recommend system upgrades and energy-efficient solutions
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records accurately
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and team members regarding job requirements
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe condition
• Assist with emergency breakdown services
• Train and guide junior staff on-the-job
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service across projects

• Identify and recommend system upgrades, repairs, and energy-efficient solutions to clients where required
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members regarding job requirements and project updates
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in a safe and clean condition
• Assist with emergency breakdown services
• Work collaboratively with the team, including providing guidance and on-the-job training
• Ensure high standards of workmanship, customer service, and attention to detail across all projects
