Thales Melbourne is seeking a Discipline Manager to lead a team delivering a major air traffic management program in the Asia-Pacific region. Based at our Melbourne office, you will guide capability growth, development and employee engagement while collaborating with global leadership to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams within complex project environments.
• Strong Systems Engineering experience across large-scale, complex systems.
• Experience in multidisciplinary, matrixed and geographically dispersed organisations.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, project and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team (~30) delivering capability growth and engagement.
• Partner with engineering, discipline and delivery leaders to drive excellence.
• Champion best practices, quality standards and modern delivery processes.
• Provide technical leadership across complex, mission-critical programs and risk management.
