Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Air Transport Coordinator (Fixed Term) to manage air freight and LCL shipments from Sydney and Brisbane, with backup for other Australian cities. You will liaise with approved providers, monitor customs, and ensure timely delivery updates while maintaining cost efficiency and strong customer service.

The role requires experience in air freight operations, CW1 proficiency, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in air freight import and export operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transportation of LCL and air freight imports and exports in Sydney and Brisbane, with backup support for Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
• Check and monitor the customs clearance status of all assigned shipments.
• Coordinate carrier payments and the release of delivery orders.
• Manage cartage providers daily to ensure service levels and KPIs.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery requirements and provide timely shipment updates.
