Job summary

Aero Logistics in Newcastle, NSW is seeking highly experienced VRLL/Utility/Fire Pilots for a rotary wing role based in Newcastle. You will conduct firefighting and airwork operations, including long lining, while maintaining detailed flight records and supporting hangar operations.

Ideal candidates hold CASA CPL(H) and Class 1 Medical with 2000+ hours as PIC helicopters, 100 hours on AS350, and 200 hours VRLL, and have unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• CASA CPL(H) licence required.
• CASA Class 1 Medical.
• 2000+ hours PIC Helicopters.
• Current Flight Review - SEH / LLR.
• 100hrs on AS350.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Firefighting and Airwork operations, including long lining.

We are currently seeking applications from highly experienced and qualified VRLL / Utility / Fire Pilots with specific expertise in Firefighting and Vertical Reference Longline Airwork operations, to become a part of our Rotary Wing team based in Newcastle, NSW. Seeking a dynamic and progressive team player who thrives on challenges and excels in a fast-paced environment.

What Will I Be Doing?

Reporting directly to the Rotary Wing Head of Flying Operations & Head of Operations, you will be supporting them by:

• Conducting Firefighting and Airwork operations, including long lining
• Performing other Airwork duties as assigned
• Maintaining precise operational and flight records
• Participating in hangar maintenance and operations
• Supporting continuous improvement in rotary wing pilot operations.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• B206/B407 Rating
• Grade 2 Instructor Rating
• Manual Driver’s Licence
