Sydney City Mechanical Services in Sydney is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installer / HVAC Technician to join our growing construction team across Sydney.

This role focuses on installation rather than service and maintenance, including split, ducted and VRF/VRV systems for commercial and multi-residential projects. A White Card, valid Australian driver's licence and strong workmanship are essential.

Qualifications

Experience installing split, ducted and VRF/VRV systems.
Ability to read mechanical drawings.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
White Card.

Responsibilities

Installation of split, ducted and VRF/VRV air-conditioning systems.
Refrigeration copper pipework and brazing.
Installation of indoor and outdoor units, FCUs and branch boxes.
Pipe insulation and supports.
Interconnect and controls cabling.
Pressure testing, evacuation and commissioning.
Reading mechanical drawings and coordinating with site teams and other trades.

Sydney City Mechanical is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Installer / HVAC Technician to join our growing construction team across Sydney.

We’re an established mechanical contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and multi-residential projects. You won’t just be another number — we want someone reliable who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a solid team.

This role is primarily focused on installation rather than service and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

Installation of split, ducted and VRF/VRV air-conditioning systems
