CRM Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Rockhampton workshop and Yeppoon showroom. We service residential and commercial air-conditioning, refrigeration, electrical and renewable energy across Central Queensland.

You will be involved in installation, commissioning, and maintenance with a focus on quality workmanship and client satisfaction. We offer a permanent full-time role with a competitive hourly rate and career development

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Refrigeration/Air Conditioning licence appropriate to the duties performed.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of reverse cycle split-system air conditioners.
• Installation and servicing of ducted, cassette and commercial air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults.
• Refrigerant leak detection, repairs, evacuation, charging and commissioning.
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of air-conditioning equipment.
• Attend breakdowns and perform repairs and fault finding.

CRM Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced, motivated and reliable Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our expanding team. Operating from our Rockhampton electrical workshop and Yeppoon showroom, we provide residential and commercial air-conditioning, refrigeration, electrical and renewable energy services throughout Central Queensland. Whether your strengths are in service and fault finding, preventative maintenance or complete system installations, we want to hear from you. Key responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of reverse cycle split-system air conditioners.
• Installation and servicing of ducted, cassette and commercial air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and refrigeration-related faults.
• Refrigerant leak detection, repairs, evacuation, charging and system commissioning.
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of air-conditioning equipment.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs and fault finding.
• Testing system performance and ensuring equipment operates efficiently.
• Reading installation plans, manufacturer specifications and technical documentation.
• Liaising with clients, property managers, builders and other trades.
• Completing accurate job notes, service reports and site photographs using electronic job management systems.

About you

• Current Queensland Restricted Electrical Work Licence appropriate to the duties performed.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience installing, servicing and repairing air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, motivated attitude and pride in your workmanship.

• Competitive hourly rate: $50.00-$55.00 per hour plus superannuation.
• Overtime opportunities available depending on workload, paid at applicable overtime rates.
