Job summary

IAG in Australia and New Zealand is hiring an AI Product Lead to drive AI initiatives within Claims. This permanent full-time role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane, leading a cross-functional squad to deliver AI solutions that deliver measurable business value and better customer outcomes.

You will work at the intersection of business and technology, collaborating with Claims leaders, data scientists, and engineering teams to turn opportunities into real AI outcomes.

Qualifications

• Background in actuarial science, data science, analytics or related quantitative field.
• Experience delivering AI solutions in production with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of AI development and engineering practices.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and influence stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated industries (insurance/banking) welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross functional squad to deliver AI initiatives with measurable value.
• Own priorities, scope and delivery outcomes from discovery through implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities and shape AI solutions.
• Guide engineers and technology teams through the delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate resources, manage risks and maintain progress transparency.
• Foster a collaborative, high performing, agile team environment.
