Deloitte’s National Generative AI and Assets team is hiring a Systems/DevOps Engineer to design, build and run scalable AI platforms. You’ll own cloud and Kubernetes workloads, focus on CI/CD and IaC, and work with Terraform, GitHub, ADO and ArgoCD to automate delivery across Australia.

You’ll partner with developers, QA and operations to improve resilience, security and observability while enabling fast, reliable releases for high‑impact AI projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience building and managing Kubernetes workloads.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub, ADO and ArgoCD.
• Experience writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Solid grounding in Linux/Unix, networking, databases, messaging and security.
• Scripting capability in Bash, PowerShell or Python for automation.
• Nice to have - familiarity with security protocols such as OAuth, SAML or OpenID Connect, and experience in a mature managed services environment.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and improve the infrastructure that underpins AI solutions with a focus on CI/CD, cloud platforms, Kubernetes and IaC.
• Refine deployment pipelines and manage cloud environments across Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Use Terraform, GitHub, ADO and ArgoCD to create reliable, repeatable delivery processes.
• Maintain performance, resilience and security, manage secrets and DevSecOps controls.
• Collaborate with developers, QA and operations to remove friction from releases.
