Job summary

Firmus Technologies is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our Commissioning team. The role will develop, maintain, and improve software tools used from initial power-on through integration, bring-up, testing, and hand-over to operations.

You will collaborate with internal teams, partners, and vendors to automate hardware bring-up, monitoring, network, and storage tasks, using IaC, CI/CD, and automation best practices to deliver reliable, production-ready infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• 5+ years in software development, automation, or infrastructure tooling.
• Experience with Linux servers, networking and storage.
• Strong scripting abilities (bash, python) and IaC skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools for commissioning.
• Automate hardware bring-up, firmware updates and inventory.
• Design monitoring health checks and diagnostics.
• Create tooling for network, storage, and deployment tasks.
• Document tooling and enable hand-over to operations.
