Job summary
Firmus Technologies is seeking a Storage Engineer to join the Commissioning team. You will deploy, configure and optimize AI storage infrastructure across high-performance platforms, coordinating with partners to ensure successful on-site deployments.
The role requires 5+ years in enterprise storage, strong Linux skills, and experience with scale-out filesystems. Travel for deployments and commissioning is expected as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience deploying, operating, troubleshooting, or commissioning enterprise storage infrastructure.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills for storage systems.
- Experience with high performance filesystems and storage hardware.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, monitor and troubleshoot high-performance storage systems for AI infrastructure.
- Scale-out file system deployment, testing, and optimization across large datasets.
- Develop IaC-based storage configurations and CI/CD pipelines for changes.
- Coordinate with partners, vendors, and internal teams for on-site deployments and commissioning.
- Produce comprehensive technical documentation and support security incident response.
- Manage storage benchmarking and performance validation using fio, mdtest, ior, etc.
