Job summary

Firmus Technologies seeks an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join the Commissioning team. You will develop, maintain, and improve tooling for powering‑on, integration, bring‑up, testing, benchmarking, and hand‑over to operations across AI‑focused GPU infrastructure.

You will work with closed‑ and open‑source tools, cloud services, and SaaS platforms, enabling fast, repeatable deployments and secure operations at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience developing software, automation platforms, operational tooling, or infrastructure automation for large-scale Linux, cloud, HPC, or AI environments.
• Experience using scripting, automation, and IaC tools including bash, Python, Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Hardware bring-up: develop tools and automate initial system bring-up, firmware updates, and testing.
• System and status monitoring: implement health checks and diagnostics, adapt for new platforms.
• Network tools: automate commissioning, OS deployment, firmware updates, and configuration.
• Storage: develop tooling for deployment, configuration, benchmarking, and validation of storage platforms.
• Automation and documentation: use IaC to simulate, automate, and document commissioning processes and hand-over to operations.
