Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist with deep Marketo expertise to automate and streamline our marketing engine. You will orchestrate systems, reduce manual work, and leverage AI to build self-sustaining workflows that improve operational excellence.

You’ll manage Marketo and CRM integrations, drive campaign optimisation, and collaborate across marketing, sales, and business processes to deliver scalable, data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on, advanced experience managing Marketing Automation Platforms (Marketo preferred) in a fast-paced B2B environment.
• An AI-first mindset: using AI tools to solve MarOps problems.
• Systems thinking: understand data flow across the MarTech stack and build scalable solutions.
• Strong CRM proficiency, especially Salesforce integration with MAPs.
• Operational discipline with autonomy, prioritising system integrity and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Platform Management & Support: run day-to-day Marketo operations, ensure uptime and scalable processes.
• Lead Investigations & Troubleshooting: diagnose funnel leakage, routing issues, scoring anomalies, and syncs between Marketo and Salesforce.
• Operational & Campaign Optimisation: drive ongoing Marketo optimisation and AI-assisted automation.
• Cross-Functional Business Alignment: translate marketing and sales processes into data constraints and solutions.
• System Overhaul & Simplification: collaborate on high-level projects to reduce technical debt and create a clean Marketo architecture.
• List Operations Management: oversee List Operations and data hygiene (including 2 direct reports).
• Ruthless Documentation: maintain comprehensive, accessible documentation of all systems and workflows.
