Job summary

LogicMonitor is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Sydney to design, build, and deploy AI-powered observability solutions for customers. You’ll work with senior engineers and product teams across discovery, scoping, system design, build, rollout, and adoption, delivering practical integrations and templates at scale.

You will write clean code in Python/JavaScript/TypeScript, implement APIs and SDKs, and contribute to telemetry and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of backend/data platform engineering experience.
• Experience shipping production code in Python/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, observability, and AI deployment patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build and support AI-powered solutions for customers and partners.
• Develop MVPs/POCs to validate use cases and transition to scalable capabilities.
• Collaborate with customers, product teams, and senior engineers during deployments.
• Write clean, production-grade code across backend and frontend, including integrations.
