Job summary

M&T Resources is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to support the development and delivery of innovative AI solutions within a large organisation. You will work across AI agent development, enterprise automation, solution assurance, security controls, and governance submissions.

You will contribute to AI governance, security, privacy and risk management while delivering scalable, business‑focused AI capabilities across multiple workstreams and enterprise data sources.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI solutions using Microsoft AI technologies, Copilot technologies or related cloud platforms.
• Strong Python development skills for integration, automation and orchestration.
• Experience working with APIs, enterprise integrations and data platforms.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, privacy and risk management practices.
• Experience producing architecture, security or compliance artefacts.
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and solution lifecycle management.
• Experience working with source control and release processes (Azure DevOps, GitHub).

This role will play a critical part in ensuring quality delivery across AI solution development, enterprise integrations, governance, and assurance activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the adoption of emerging AI technologies, working across multiple workstreams including AI agent development, enterprise automation, solution assurance, security controls, and intelligent search capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You will bring strong experience as an AI Engineer, AI Consultant, Solution Architect or AI Specialist, working across complex technology environments with the ability to deliver secure, scalable and business-focused AI solutions.

Essential Experience

• Experience building AI solutions using Microsoft AI technologies, Copilot technologies or related cloud platforms
• Strong Python development skills for integration, automation and orchestration
• Experience working with APIs, enterprise integrations and data platforms
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, privacy and risk management practices
• Experience producing technical documentation including architecture, security or compliance artefacts
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI evaluation methodologies and solution lifecycle management
• Experience working with source control and release processes using Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar platforms

Highly Regarded

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search
• Knowledge of enterprise assurance, governance or security frameworks
• Experience deploying or supporting self hosted AI models and isolated environments
• Previous experience within large enterprise, government, or regulated environments
