Job summary

Cullen Jewellery in Melbourne is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust software solutions and AI-enabled workflows that streamline business operations end-to-end.

You will integrate internal tools, ERP platforms, and third-party systems using TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, Docker, and modern front-end frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Full-Stack Developer in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, SQL and modern front-end frameworks (SvelteKit, Vue or React).
• Experience integrating systems via REST APIs and webhooks; AI-enabled workflows a plus.
• Clear written and verbal communication, proactive ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, Docker and modern front-end frameworks.
• Build, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled workflows and automations embedded in daily operations.
• Connect internal software, ERP platforms, and third-party tools via REST APIs and webhooks.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Ship functional solutions iteratively and improve systems based on feedback.
• Maintain documentation of systems, architecture, and integrations.
