Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in AI Enabled Atomic-Scale Materials Characterisation to join a collaborative and interdisciplinary team. You will contribute to student supervision, research training, grant development, and publication in leading journals and conferences.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline with strong research background.
• Experience with advanced microscopy and microanalysis techniques.
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis and programming, with AI/ML desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct innovative research using advanced microscopy and characterisation techniques.
• Develop AI-enabled approaches for materials characterisation and data analysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and industry partners on high-impact projects.
• Contribute to supervision of HDR students and dissemination of results.
