Job summary

Software at Scale is seeking an AI-Empowered Senior Data AI Engineer to design and scale data foundations powering advanced AI systems. You will own data architectures, source critical data assets, and create robust enterprise data models that align with strategic business priorities.

You will work in a high-trust environment, taking technical ownership while leveraging Claude Code and modern tools to accelerate data transformations, pipeline refactoring, and code generation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to translate data into business value.
• Solid experience designing enterprise-grade data models and data platforms.
• Strong statistics and data-quality mindset for AI workloads.
• Ability to navigate large, complex enterprise environments and align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical catalyst to source, evaluate, and integrate data assets for AI initiatives.
• Design and build enterprise data models aligned with business priorities delivering measurable value.
• Architect and optimize large-scale data platforms using Snowflake or Databricks to ensure performance and cost efficiency.
• Apply statistics to validate data quality, shape features, and support ML workloads.
• Leverage Claude Code and other AI tooling to accelerate data engineering tasks and code generation.
• Build robust ELT pipelines with dbt and orchestration via Airflow to feed analytics and AI systems.
• Establish data governance and monitoring across all data products.
