Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Management Office professional to oversee initiatives within a large, complex organisation. You will apply prioritization frameworks, validate assumptions and help sequence pipeline proposals that reflect capacity, schedule and budget constraints.

You will coordinate planning cycles, maintain the branch pipeline dataset, and prepare dashboards and governance packs for decision forums.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Portfolio Management Office within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong financial management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Influential communicator who builds relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of project delivery frameworks, governance, risk and assurance (Agile and Waterfall).
• Experience using AI-assisted tools across PMO activities.

Responsibilities

• Apply prioritization frameworks and criteria to assess initiatives and reflect capacity, schedule and budget constraints.
• Coordinate planning cycles and intake processes, ensuring inputs are complete and aligned with branch guidance.
• Maintain the branch pipeline dataset and prepare portfolio dashboards and governance packs.
