Zurich Insurance Group in Australia seeks a Domain Architect – AI to shape the future of AI across the organization. You’ll define architecture, capabilities and roadmaps that enable safe, scalable AI solutions delivering value for customers and the business.

The role sits in the Technology team with a hybrid work pattern, offering generous leave, wellbeing programs and opportunities to influence enterprise-wide decisions while upholding governance and security.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in architecture roles delivering target states, roadmaps, capability models and solution designs.
• Experience designing and delivering AI and machine learning solutions into production environments.
• Strong knowledge of AI-specific non-functional requirements, including scalability, resilience, observability and governance.
• Experience guiding engineers and technical leaders to deliver solutions aligned with architectural intent.
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications and modern integration patterns including APIs.

Responsibilities

• Defining and evolving AI capabilities that support generative AI, agentic AI and machine learning solutions at scale.
• Developing architecture roadmaps and target-state designs for Zurich’s AI platforms and capabilities.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams integrating AI into business solutions.
• Evaluating, selecting and governing AI technologies to support innovation and business outcomes.
• Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Driving best practice across AI architecture, security, data privacy, compliance and governance frameworks.
