Job summary

Apple’s Channel Sales ANZSA is seeking an outstanding data scientist to design and implement AI-powered analytical solutions to support growth across Australia, New Zealand and South Asia. This is a hands-on role for a builder, architecting and deploying models at scale in collaboration with sales, engineering and analytics teams.

The candidate will master techniques from ML optimisation to RLHF, GNNs and GenAI, partner with engineering to productionalise models, and stay ahead of industry

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ML/AI, Data Science or related field experience.
• Advanced degree in CS/DS or equivalent.
• Proven ability to deliver business value with data science.
• Expertise in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Production-grade code and collaboration with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Bridge data science and business with clear analytical requirements.
• Design and deploy statistical models for business topics like price elasticity.
• Develop AI solutions using ML optimization, RLHF, GNNs and GenAI.
• Collaborate with engineering to productionalise models.
• Validate models with robust strategies and metrics.
• Work with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines.
• Localise global AI tools for ANZSA and share knowledge locally.
