Job summary

Sia is seeking a Data Science Consultant to join our AI-driven transformation practice in Sydney. You will develop AI and generative AI solutions and help clients seize opportunities through advanced analytics, ML, NLP, and data engineering.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, translate business needs into data-driven models, design scalable ML pipelines, and contribute to RAG deployments and conversational agents for real-world applications.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in engineering, information processing, statistical engineering, or econometrics.
• At least one year of prior experience in Big Data or Data Science.
• Excellent level in statistics and quantitative analysis with practical modeling knowledge.
• Proficiency in Python programming and code versioning; knowledge of API development, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and DL frameworks or Generative AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI and generative AI solutions and support AI-driven digital transformation for clients.
• Design and implement ML models, explainability, and decision-support tools for business use cases.
• Build scalable ML pipelines and RAG deployments; create business-focused conversational agents and autonomous assistants.
