Job summary

Sia Partners in Sydney is seeking a GenAI-focused engineer within the AI & Data Business Unit to help organizations transform processes through Generative and Agentic AI. Working with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Solution Architects, and Platform Engineers, you will design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI systems that create measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, CS, or AI and at least one year of technical AI experience.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with Generative AI frameworks and cloud-native deployment.
• Interest in pushing AI boundaries and delivering GenAI-powered applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the GenAI Solution Architect in designing scalable and secure AI solutions.
• Develop applications powered by foundation models, self-managed or API-driven.
• Design prompts and orchestration strategies to improve reasoning and reliability.
• Design and optimize RAG systems using enterprise knowledge sources.
• Develop agentic AI systems using orchestration frameworks and tools.
• Evaluate models based on requirements, performance, latency, and cost.
