Job description

Join Eldercare as an AI Business Analyst

Type: Full Time

At Eldercare, our purpose is simple but powerful: to deliver peace of mind with our care.

We are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to older South Australians. As one of the state’s leading aged care providers, we foster a compassionate and inclusive work environment where every team member is valued.

By joining Eldercare, you'll become part of a team that prioritises integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Eldercare is seeking a curious, forward-thinking AI Business Analyst to help shape how artificial intelligence is adopted across our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving innovation while ensuring AI is implemented responsibly, effectively and in alignment with Eldercare's governance and strategic objectives.

Reporting to the General Manager Technology, you will act as Eldercare's central AI coordination resource, partnering with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, service delivery, decision-making and employee experience. You will facilitate discovery workshops, assess and prioritise AI initiatives, support business case development, and help measure the value delivered from AI investments.

A key focus of the role will be building organisational capability. You will develop practical resources, deliver education and awareness programs, and support staff to confidently and responsibly use AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and future AI platforms. You will also contribute to AI governance activities, monitor usage and outcomes, provide reporting to leadership, and help guide Eldercare's AI strategy and roadmap.

This role would suit an experienced Business Analyst with 4+ years of relevant professional experience who enjoys working with new technologies, is naturally curious, and is excited by the opportunity to help an organisation realise the benefits of AI in a practical and meaningful way. Due to the level of responsibility and autonomy required, this position is not suitable for recent graduates.

About You

You are an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys understanding how organisations work and identifying opportunities for improvement. You are naturally curious about emerging technologies and have a genuine interest in how AI can deliver value while being used responsibly and ethically.

You will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Information Management or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst, including requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder engagement and business case development.
  • The ability to facilitate workshops, ask insightful questions and translate business needs into practical recommendations.
  • A strong interest in artificial intelligence and digital innovation, with a willingness to continuously learn and stay abreast of emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • An understanding of governance, risk, privacy and compliance considerations within technology initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess opportunities, costs, benefits and risks.
Why Choose Eldercare?
  • Not-for-profit salary packaging to help you maximise your take-home pay
  • A supportive, inclusive and values-driven workplace culture
  • A strong commitment to employee wellbeing, safety and belonging
  • The opportunity to contribute to meaningful outcomes for older Australians
  • Exposure to a diverse range of projects and initiatives
  • A culture that embraces innovation, continuous improvement and new ideas
  • Ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development
