Pitcher Partners Melbourne is seeking an AI Automation & Development Team Leader to drive AI prototypes, automation and development solutions that transform processes and decision-making across the firm. You’ll act as the Power Platform lead, delivering Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Dataverse integrations, while guiding a small multi-disciplinary team including contractors.

The role requires a senior, hands-on leader with experience turning BA concepts into production-ready

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Dataverse and Power BI; certification (PL-400/PL-600) highly regarded.
• Senior, hands-on experience leading Power Platform delivery from PoC to production deployment, including small mixed teams.
• Experience translating BA requirements and prototypes into production solutions and extending platform capabilities with programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Ability to collaborate across peer leadership teams, aligning priorities and handovers with architects.

• Act as the firm’s Power Platform lead, building and deploying Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Dataverse solutions, and Logic Apps integrations.
• Develop application roadmaps and set standards for code quality, DevOps/CI-CD practices and code reviews for developers.
• Provide team leadership, mentoring and coaching, and escalate issues when needed.

The IT team is part of the Practice Management Group and consists of Operations, Information Technology (IT), Finance, Administration, People Experience and Client Experience. **About the role** You will be a member of the IT leadership team reporting to the Director – IT Applications & Business Partner, and work in partnership with the Solutions & Integrations Architect and the SQL Database & Applications Support Team Leader. The role is responsible for leading the delivery of AI prototypes, automation and development solutions that transform processes and decision-making across the firm, and for acting as the firm’s Microsoft Power Platform lead and hands-on technical owner. The role leads a small multi-disciplinary team of developers, a Prototype Developer and contract Power Platform resources. **Key responsibilities** * Design, develop, test and deploy AI solutions, including Copilot Studio agents and Azure AI services, that solve real problems such as optimising & streamlining business workflows, and improving the client experience.* Act as the firm’s Power Platform lead, designing, building and deploying Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and Dataverse solutions, and Logic Apps integrations.* Develop application roadmaps and set standards for code quality, DevOps / CI-CD practices and code review for the Software Developers.* Team leadership and task assignment, including acting as an escalation point and providing mentoring and coaching. **Who we’re after** Here are the some of the key qualifications, skills and personal attributes we’re looking for.
