Job summary

Talent in Melbourne, Australia seeks a TAi Architect to lead the design of a bespoke digital modernisation program. The role requires a hands-on architect who translates business challenges into practical applications, integration and AI-enabled solutions.

The position covers discovery, design and delivery with a focus on modernising complex legacy systems and undocumented business rules, including AI-driven improvements for discovery and decision support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of dedicated Solution Architect experience with hands-on delivery.
• Ability to design and document bespoke apps and integration solutions.
• Experience modernising legacy systems where standard products don’t fit.
• Knowledge of incorporating AI into enterprise solutions.

The role

Our Client is seeking an TAI Architect to lead the design of a complex, bespoke solution within a major digital modernisation program. his role requires a hands-on architect who can translate business challenges into practical application, integration and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture across discovery, design and delivery.
• Design and document bespoke application and integration solutions.
• Develop architecture specifications, solution options and technical roadmaps.
• Support the modernisation of complex legacy systems and undocumented business rules.
• Assess how AI can improve discovery, staff efficiency and decision support.

Key Skills and Experience

• 10+ years' experience as a dedicated Solution Architect, with recent hands-on delivery experience.
• Proven ability to design and document bespoke applications and integration solutions.
• Strong experience modernising legacy systems where standard COTS products are not suitable.
• Practical knowledge of incorporating AI capabilities into enterprise solutions.
• Experience designing isolated AI environments in Azure or AWS is highly desirable.
