Milne Bros Equipment in Mackay, Queensland seeks an experienced Agricultural Service Technician to deliver maintenance and repairs for a range of agricultural equipment. The role combines field service and workshop tasks, with a work Ute provided and a flexible full-time roster.

Ideal candidates have formal agricultural/diesel mechanics qualifications, 2–4 years of service experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in agricultural/diesel mechanics or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience as a service technician on agricultural equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to client sites; forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues using tools and test equipment.
• Work across field service and workshop tasks; a work Ute is provided.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication throughout the repair process.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and outcomes.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies in agricultural equipment.
