Job summary

Whizdom is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master in Canberra to enable high-performing delivery teams on complex ICT projects. You will embed Agile principles, facilitate ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement across delivery lifecycles.

You will work closely with Product Owners, technical specialists, and stakeholders to manage risks and dependencies while delivering outcomes. The role requires strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive approach

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience leading Agile delivery teams in complex ICT/government environments.
Strong understanding and practical application of Scrum and Agile
Experience coaching individuals, teams, Product Owners and stakeholders on Agile practices

Responsibilities

Facilitating Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
Supporting and coaching Agile delivery teams to improve ways of working and delivery maturity.
Working with stakeholders to align priorities, manage expectations, and support successful outcomes.
Identifying and removing delivery impediments while managing risks and dependencies.
Tracking and communicating Agile delivery metrics and performance indicators.
Preparing reporting and updates for governance forums and key stakeholders.
Promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
