FinXL Professional Services Pty in Sydney is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead for a 6-month initial engagement with potential extension up to 18 months, deployed with a premier Central Banking institution. The role is based in Sydney CBD with occasional travel to Norwest, focusing on modernising cloud infrastructure and CI/CD delivery.

You will partner with engineering squads, Product Owners, and architects to drive delivery efficiency, remove bottlenecks, and ensure

Qualifications

Experience in large, highly regulated environments (Tier-1 Australian banks or similar).
Proven ability to redefine delivery remits and streamline engineering workflows.
Track record of improving core flow metrics (cycle time, throughput, release predictability).
Experience turning backlogs into actionable increments.
Hands-on support of cloud migrations (AWS/Azure) and automation.

Responsibilities

Backlog refinement and planning discipline with Definition of Ready/Done standards.
Continuously simplify processes to reduce governance overhead and heavy ceremonies.
Use flow metrics to identify blockers and demonstrably improve delivery cadence.
Facilitate core Agile ceremonies with a focus on actionable outcomes and impediment resolution.
Identify and clear cross-team dependencies across infra, architecture and cloud workstreams.
