Job summary

FinXL Professional Services is seeking a Scrum Master to join our Agile Practice and be deployed with a leading Banking client on a 6+ months contract in Sydney CBD and some days in Norwest.

You will facilitate delivery teams migrating core applications from on-premise to cloud environments while driving automation and infrastructure modernization, aligning with risk and governance frameworks, and supporting long-term programs of work.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Scrum Master in large, complex environments such as banking/government.
• Experience supporting infrastructure modernization, automation, and cloud migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe scaling frameworks.
• Ability to manage inter-departmental dependencies within high governance/risk settings.
• Expertise helping Product Owners refine backlogs, user stories, and Definition of Done criteria.
• Experience fostering CI and automated testing practices.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation and servant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies to ensure outcome-oriented delivery.
• Manage cross-team dependencies across complex programs and coordinate with delivery leaders.
• Protect teams from external distractions and scope creep to maintain velocity.
• Align with risk, audit, security, and governance across delivery streams.
• Coach teams on Agile principles and drive retrospectives for continuous improvement.
