Job summary

UTS is hiring a part-time Scrum Master to coach multiple delivery teams within SAFe, guiding agile practices and removing impediments. You will support the Release Train Engineer in aligning priorities and delivering complex systems with significant budgets, while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.

You will facilitate ceremonies, promote continuous improvement, and empower teams to work autonomously in a dynamic university IT environment, with a strong focus on adaptability

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Scrum Master in IT environment, SAFe context.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles, ceremonies, and practices.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support Agile practices, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver value.
• Facilitate sprint events: planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
• Remove obstacles and foster continuous improvement for project delivery.
• Promote collaboration among team members and stakeholders to improve transparency.
• Coach teams to align with business and technology stakeholders and adopt Agile principles.
• Act as change agent to embrace Agile values and empower self-organizing teams.
• Foster lean thinking and work with leaders to help adoption of Agile principles.
• Assist teams in preparing for PI planning and quarterly planning.
