Job summary

Equity Trustees Ltd. seeks a Trust and Grant Program Manager to lead grantmaking within the Ageing Well portfolio, Working in Melbourne, part-time 0.8 FTE. You will advance the granting strategy, manage trusts and partners, and drive impact for older Australians through evidence-based decisions and strong stakeholder collaboration.

You will identify opportunities, oversee due diligence, and support strategic projects while ensuring compliance and operational excellence across programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in philanthropy, grantmaking or social impact.
• Experience assessing funding proposals and due diligence.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments.
• Commitment to deep community partnerships and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evolution of the Ageing Well granting strategy.
• Manage discretionary and non-discretionary charitable trusts.
• Cultivate relationships with grant partners and stakeholders.
• Assess applications, perform due diligence and provide funding recommendations.
• Source innovative initiatives aligned with grantmaking priorities.
• Monitor programs, report on outcomes and impact.
• Identify trends and opportunities in ageing and social impact.
• Share insights across the Ageing Well ecosystem.
