Job summary

St Basil's Homes NSW/ACT is seeking dedicated Aged Care Workers for morning, afternoon and night shifts across our Lakemba, Kogarah, Miranda and Randwick sites. You will support residents with daily living, personal care and mobility in a compassionate, person-centred way.

Join a caring team and help promote dignity, independence and wellbeing, working closely with nursing staff to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• CertificateIII in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Aged Care is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 12 months' experience in a residential aged care environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality personal care and exceptional customer service.
• Understanding of the needs of people living with dementia.
• Respectful approach that supports residents' choices.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
• Australian work rights.

We are currently seeking Aged Care Workers for morning,afternoon and night shifts.

About the Role

As an Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role insupporting the health, wellbeing and independence of our residents through thedelivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

Working collaboratively with our nursing and care team, youwill assist residents with daily living activities, personal care and mobilitywhile promoting dignity, respect and individual choice. You will help create apositive resident experience by delivering compassionate care that enhancesresidents' physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.

Our employees are employed under the St Basil's NSW/ACTEnterprise Agreement 2024, with Aged Care Workers classified as Personal CareWorker Level 3, earning up to $36.59 base per hour (depending onqualifications and experience).

About You

You are passionate about improving the lives of older peopleand understand the importance of delivering care that is respectful,compassionate and person-centred.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• CertificateIII in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Aged Care
• CurrentFirst Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain through ourtraining)
