Job summary

Calvary Care is seeking Support Workers to service the Adelaide and Southern Fleurieu Peninsula area. You will assist a diverse range of clients in their homes with daily living, personal care, domestic and social support, and respite services, aiming to preserve independence.

The role requires a Certificate III in related fields, a valid driver’s license, and current first aid. You’ll work in a mission-based organisation that values dignity, privacy, and community wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Completed a minimum of Certificate III in Individualised Support, Home & Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent.
• Current full driver's licence.
• Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR.
• NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
• Police Clearance (within 6 months or willingness to obtain one).
• Access to the internet and experience using a computer and applications.
• Capacity to work in a mission-based organisation delivering care with dignity and privacy.
• Living in the Southern Suburbs or Southern Fleurieu (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and home care services.
• Support clients in domestic tasks, social activities, respite and personal care at home.
• Promote client choice and meaningful activities per service delivery model.
• Adhere to safety policies and report changes in client health or care plans.
• Roaster-friendly shifts and ability to drive client/company vehicles.
