Job summary

Southern Cross Community Healthcare seeks motivated Aged Support Workers to provide in-home personal care and domestic assistance in Trinity Beach & Kewarra Beach area, Cairns region. You will support elderly clients to live independently at home with dignity.

Roles are contractor positions with flexible 2–3 hour shifts and travel between homes. A current licence, vehicle, and mandatory checks (AN DIS, First Aid, WWC) are required; training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Current driver's licence, your own car, vehicle registration and car insurance (mandatory).
• A Current and valid First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory).
• A Working with Children Check or willing to obtain (Paid) (mandatory).
• Certificate III (Ageing and Disability) or equivalent (desirable).

We are currently seeking motivated, caring and committed individuals as Aged Support Workers who live in and around Trinity Beach & Kewarra beach to provide in home personal care and domestic assistance. You will providedelivery of support services in the community to people living in their own homes

What you need

Days/Hours

There are a variety of short (2-3 hour)shifts available (weekday's). Please indicate your availability within the application

Having a car and current licenseis essential to travel to and from homes in the community.
