Respect Group in Merbein is seeking a Social Care Coordinator to lead our social care program for older residents, coordinating activities and ensuring person-centred, meaningful engagement. You will supervise Social Care Assistants and volunteers, build community connections, maintain records, manage resources, and participate in quality improvement while promoting a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent.
• Experience supervising and delivering a social care program.
• Current First Aid Certificate and Police Check.
• Proficient computer and information management skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate and review social, recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Lead and support Social Care Assistants and volunteers.
• Develop relationships with community groups and partners.
• Facilitate resident meetings and empower resident input.
• Maintain records, registers and social care documentation.
• Manage resources and expenditure within the approved budget.
• Contribute to planning and quality improvement activities.
• Promote a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
