Job summary

South Australia Country Home Services is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to roster Home Care Workers and balance client needs, carer availability, and location across Nuriootpa. The role offers WFH opportunities for the right candidate and requires flexibility across early to late shifts.

The successful applicant will coordinate replacements, monitor shifts, and optimize resources while delivering high-quality service to clients in the community.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant qualification)
• Experience with rostering software
• Previous scheduling experience in aged care
• Excellent written, verbal and listening communication
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Schedule Home Care Workers according to client preference and worker availability
• Coordinate replacement workers for planned and unplanned leave
• Update Care Worker availability and monitor unallocated shifts to ensure coverage as quickly as possible
• Analyse worker availability against client requirements to make the most efficient use of resources
• Monitor, manage and action notifications from Care Partners and Home Care Workers
• Provide excellent customer service on our dedicated Scheduling Phone Line
