Job summary

Roshana Care Group is seeking a Rostering Coordinator for Macleay Valley Aged Care in Frederickton, NSW. This role focuses on managing daily rosters to ensure safe staffing levels and high-quality resident care.

You will work closely with the Facility Manager and clinical leads to coordinate rosters, handle leave and vacancies, and support payroll, reporting and onboarding. Aged care experience and strong organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in rostering or workforce planning in 24/7 environment.
• Ability to manage complex rosters and adapt to staffing changes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of aged care awards and enterprise agreements desirable.
• National Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate staff rosters across all shifts.
• Manage planned and unplanned leave and vacancies.
• Coordinate agency staff and casual workforce.
• Liaise with managers on roster requests, availability, and staffing needs.
• Monitor rostering compliance with awards and policies.
• Maintain employee availability and workforce records.
• Assist with onboarding and rostering of new employees.
• Generate roster reports for planning and decision making.
• Support payroll with roster data and attendance details.
• Provide administrative support to management.
• Build positive working relationships with staff and deliver responsive service.
