Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland seeks a Registered Nurse for Bribie Island Residential Aged Care on a permanent part-time basis. You will support residents, lead the care team and ensure high-quality aged-care delivery.

You will manage care plans, medications, wound care and clinical documentation while liaising with families and staff to uphold standards and policy compliance. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
• Experience in medication management, wound care and care planning.
• Strong documentation and communication at point of care.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an RN, preferably in aged care.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Full working rights in Australia (not sponsorable).

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and update resident care plans.
• Administer medications and maintain clinical documentation.
• Provide wound care management and monitor outcomes.
• Mentor and guide care staff with clinical leadership on shift.
• Liaise with residents, families and team while upholding aged care standards.
