Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland's Warrawee Aged Care Facility in St George, Queensland, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join on a permanent part-time basis. You will deliver safe, person-centred care and provide clinical guidance to staff.

You will lead medication administration, assessments and care planning, supporting the team across day, afternoon and night shifts while upholding high clinical standards within a Not-for-Profit setting.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Skilled in medication management, wound care, resident assessments and updating care plans.
• Previous aged care experience is desirable.
• Current First Aid, CPR Certificate, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work across day, afternoon, and night shifts.
• Hold valid Australian Work Rights – unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and clinical documentation.
• Conducting baseline and focused clinical assessments.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Wound care management.
• Supporting and leading care staff on shift.
• Liaising with residents, families and staff.
• Ensuring compliance with aged care standards and policies.
