Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland – Bribie Island Residential Aged Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. You will support residents, lead on care plans, and work with a dedicated care team to deliver high-quality, dignity-focused aged care.

You will hold current AHPRA RN registration, with experience in medication management, wound care and care planning.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated experience in medication management and wound care.
• Experience in resident assessments and care planning.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with families and teams.
• Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and update resident care plans to meet individual needs.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide wound care management and monitor outcomes.
• Guide and mentor care staff, providing clinical leadership on shift.
• Coordinate with residents, families and team to ensure aged care standards and policies are followed.
