Job summary
Hassett Group is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our aged care facilities in Melbourne. You will deliver holistic, patient-centered care under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and support a multidisciplinary team to meet each resident’s needs.
The role requires AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and preference for aged care experience. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available for eligible international candidates, with ongoing training and development
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Nursing is essential.
- AHPRA registration is mandatory.
- Aged care experience strongly preferred.
- Postgraduate training in aged care or gerontology desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct resident assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Provide safe, respectful and holistic nursing care.
- Administer and monitor medications.
- Lead and mentor ENs and personal carers during your shift.
- Collaborate with doctors and allied health staff.
- Advocate for residents and promote their wellbeing.
- Monitor health changes and respond with clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Maintain a safe working environment and participate in health and safety initiatives.
