Job summary

Country Mile Home Care Pty is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer for a hands‑on, quality‑driven role in Parramatta. You will help staff translate quality requirements into everyday practice, conduct audits, and support management with evidence and documentation for regulatory reviews.

You will work closely with the clinical team, case managers and service partners, monitoring incidents, driving continuous improvement and ensuring staff and subcontractors meet training and qualification

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance, compliance, auditing or a similar role within aged care.
• Sound understanding of home care operations and aged care quality requirements.
• Clear written communication skills and report preparation.
• Organisational skills with the ability to follow up on actions.
• Experience with quality monitoring of subcontractors and providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of client files, care documentation, service delivery and organisational processes.
• Support compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and related requirements.
• Maintain policies, procedures, risk registers and continuous improvement plans.
• Monitor complaints, incidents and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Track corrective actions and ensure improvements are implemented and effective.
• Prepare evidence, reports and documentation for external audits and regulatory reviews.
• Review staff and contractor records, including qualifications and training requirements.
• Support quality monitoring of subcontractors and providers.
• Help staff improve record keeping and understanding of quality requirements.
• Prepare quality reports for management and governance meetings.
