Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry teams to coordinate care.
• Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly.
• Promote best-practice aged-care therapy and support accreditation requirements.
• Participate in continuing professional development and training sessions.

Position: Physiotherapist – Aged Care (Part- time ) Location: Salamander Bay, NSW Client Demographic: Aged-care residents (predominantly older adults in residential/community aged-care settings)

Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years experience in aged care is preferred Role Overview:

• We’re seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who’s excited about making a difference in the lives of older adults. In this role you’ll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in aged-care settings, working to maintain and improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence of clients.
• Assess, plan and implement physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged-care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry
• Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly
• Promote best-practice aged-care therapy and support accreditation requirements
• Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions

We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current general AHPRA registration
